Overview of the Institute

Fundamental research

Focusing on the research and service of artificial intelligence technology of the third generation of cognitive intelligence, it organically combines machine learning, deep learning with the third generation of artificial intelligence technology to provide a full process customized simulation technology and application service platform for a similar human intelligent behavior system based on intelligent analysis, knowledge reasoning and intelligent decision-making.

Study on the application of graph

The construction and application of vertical domain-specific knowledge graph that is achieved based on the knowledge graph full stack technology, from multi-source heterogeneous data collection and processing, knowledge extraction, knowledge linking and fusion, transformation of knowledge storage to knowledge graphing, inference engine realization to a series of intelligent applications, including intelligent question answering, intelligent recommendation, intelligent decision-making, intelligent retrieval intelligent service applications.

Software R&D

The visual value-added intelligent services under information management and data integration are realized based on the organic integration of the application Web with the mobile terminal, which are the whole process, full data management and accurate intelligent services integrating information flow, business flow with workflow. It provides customized development and maintenance of education, teaching and management service software for the School of Computer Science, Academic Affairs Office, Finance Office, Evaluation Center, Network Center, Postgraduate School and other units of Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology.

Research orientation: machine learning and knowledge engineering, literature data analysis and knowledge discovery.

Achievements related to scientific research, teaching and quality education: presided over/participated in the completion of 12 provincial projects, including 2 major projects and 1 key project of national social science fund; responsible for completing one outsourcing topic of the "13th Five Year Plan" pre-research topics; Participated in the completion of one application for national "14th Five Year Plan" pre-research sub-topic; published more than 10 academic articles, including SCI/CSSCI/CSCD and Chinese core journals; completed one monograph, and obtained the approval of more than 10 intellectual property rights such as software copyright and utility model patents; responsible for establishing a cognitive intelligence research institute and led the research team to complete a horizontal project funding of 2.1 million Yuan in the past three years; serves as the person in charge of the first-class course construction of "Software Engineering" at the university-level, has won the second prize in the school teaching basic skills contest, the first prize in the school micro course contest, and the second prize in the national coal specialty micro-lecture contest, and the first prize of the first innovative teaching competition, and has achieved excellent teaching results for consecutive years. She was responsible for the establishing college students' scientific research and innovation base, and for college students' quality education competitions and won more than 10 first, second and third prizes at national and provincial levels. Yu Haiying

Member of the Jiusan Society, doctor, associate professor.

She is mainly engaged in computer science and technology and related professional teaching and research work. She is the speaker of the courses such as "Python Program Design", "SCM Principle and Interface Technology", and bilingual courses such as "JavaScript Programming", "Interactive Media Production", etc., which are Chinese foreign cooperation projects. She hosted and participated in two higher education reform projects in Heilongjiang Province, and won honors such as "Municipal Excellent Course Teacher", "First Prize in Teaching Skills Competition", etc. She presided over and participated in many scientific research projects such as "Integration and Release Technology of Coal Mine Safety Information based on XML/SOAP" that was scientific research project from Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, "Research on the Optimization Control Mechanism of Wood-Based Panel Hot Pressing Process with Data Fusion" that was the special fund project of Harbin scientific and technological innovation talents. She won two awards such as Heilongjiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards, Harbin Science and Technology Progress Awards, and four national invention and utility model patents, and published many related academic articles.

Gu Zeyuan

Research orientation: Data mining and knowledge graph.

He published more than 10 articles, such as Research on frequent item sets discovery algorithm Apriori, Method of Bridge Recognition in Sensing Image Based on Knowledge, and Triangulation Algorithm Based on Incremental Algorithm. He serves as the chief editor, deputy chief editor, and chief reviewer of several textbooks, such as Data Structure, Visual Basic Programming, Software Engineering, and C Language Programming. He is the speaker of the major courses: Data Structure, Algorithm Design and Analysis, Compilation Principles, etc. He repeatedly won the title such as Excellent Communist Party Member of Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology for many times. He was repeatedly awarded with a record of Great Merit and a Record of Merit from Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology. He guided students to participate in the "First Artificial Intelligence Competition in Heilongjiang Province" with the award of the second prize. He guided students to participate in the "Heilongjiang Programming Contest", "Heilongjiang Computer Design Competition", "Bluebridge Cup" and other competitions for many times with the award of first, second and third prizes and so on.

Han Na

Member of the CPC, Ph.D. candidate, deputy director of IoT major.

She undertakes software development, internet of things engineering, knowledge engineering teaching and research. She published several research articles such as Reasoning Research on Policy Text Synergy Based on Knowledge Graph in Information Science and Journal of Intelligence, etc. She compiled the textbook Introduction to Computer. She won the first prize in 2019 and the second prize in 2009 in the school teaching competition. She Presided over the completion of the Research on the Cultivation of Postgraduates' Innovation Ability Based on the Knowledge Graph Subject Hotspots that was the teaching reform project of Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, Participated in the completion of a number of education department projects, and hosted and participated in a number of university-level education reform projects. She has published many teaching and research articles in Higher Education Forum, Computer Education and other journals. She has applied for 1 utility model patent, participated in 2 utility model patents, and 1 software copyright. She is a member of the team of the university-level first-class course Software Engineering and also a member of the provincial level ideological and political course team. She instructed students to participate in various competitions at all levels with the award of the first prize of Heilongjiang Artificial Intelligence Competition in 2019 and the second prize of Heilongjiang Programming Competition in 2021 and so on. She successively won the honorary titles such as "Excellent Communist Party Member", "Advanced Individual in Teaching and Educating", " Woman Pace-Setter" issued by the university for many times, and was awarded a "Record of Merit" and other honorary titles.

Wang Hailing

Research orientation: She is engaged in the virtual reality, deep learning, knowledge graph construction, knowledge representation and reasoning.

She has published more than ten academic articles, including Multi-feature Fusion Method for Mesh Simplification, An Efficient Mesh Simplification Algorithm, Collision Detection Based on Topology Hierarchy Graph, Fractal Reconciliation for Ocean Wave Simulation, and Dynamic Water Surface Simulation Method Based on Improved Surface Entropy, and has obtained one authorized invention patent. She participated in the creation of knowledge base for a national defense project and the construction of multiple knowledge graphs, and presided over and participated in multiple teaching and research projects and quality education project. She instructed many students to participate in several provincial and national professional competitions. She is mainly responsible for teaching courses such as Open Source Operating System, Computer Network, Deep Learning, and Software Work. As a team member, she won the first prize in the first Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition of Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology, and was successively awarded with the honorary titles of "Top Ten Class Teachers", Advanced Individual of "Three Educations", "Woman Pace-Setter", etc.

Research orientation: Cyber security and knowledge graph.

He has published several articles on the construction of cyber security knowledge graph, and Presided over the completion of one scientific research project of Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, Participated in the completion of one general project of Heilongjiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation and one key research project of economic and social development of Heilongjiang Province. He is the speaker of courses such as Network Security Technology and Software Engineering, etc. He won the first prize in the school teaching contest twice, the third prize in the teaching contest of colleges and universities directly under Heilongjiang Province, and the first prize in the teaching innovation contest as a member of the curriculum team. He has published more than 10 teaching and research articles and served as the chief editor of 4 textbooks. He Presided over the completion of 2 educational science planning projects in Heilongjiang Province, 1 teaching and research project of Heilongjiang Higher Education Society, and 2 education reform projects of Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology. He instructed students to obtain 9 provincial awards in quality education competitions and 4 college students’ scientific research projects establishment. He once worked in Yiyang Security Technology Co., Ltd. and Heilongjiang Harbin Digital China Technology Co., Ltd., who was responsible for algorithm implementation and key technology research. He participated in the network sensitive data leakage prevention system project, and took charge of system design and key technology implementation. He took charge of the research on simulation data construction technology of audit methods in the research and development and application demonstration project of audit simulation and simulation platform for national audit "immune system", took charge of the research on audit methods oriented to the audit process in the application research and demonstration feasibility study project of key technologies for dynamic audit monitoring of government budget implementation, and took charge of product design and implementation of key technologies in the national information security special project - cloud operating system security reinforcement and virtual machine security management product project. He published many scientific research articles, such as Uncertain Trajectory Prediction Method Using Non-parametric Density Estimation, Density Distribution Frequent Pattern for Query Processing over Uncertain Data Stream, An Uncertain Data Stream Similarity Measurement Method Based on Nonparametric Estimation and Stochastic Simulation, and Uncertain Data Analysis Algorithm Based on Fast Gaussian Transform.

The Institute of Cognitive Intelligence is affiliated to the College of Computer and Information Engineering and is composed of teachers and student research teams with strong ability to tackle key problems. With the fundamental idea of cultivating students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability, software development ability and team cooperation awareness, the Institute is now open to all 2022 undergraduate freshmen of the University for recruitment of fresh members in the principle of extensive talent exploration. The undergraduate laboratory of the Institute consists of two branches, namely, the Web front-end and the Java back-end.
